About Us
Owner Paco Segura has been designing and building outdoor living spaces since 1996. He began mowing lawns on the weekends when he was in high school, and continued on, eventually leading landscape installation crews and working in management and sales with local landscape companies. This afforded him the valuable perspective and knowledge that come with working at all levels of a landscape company. Paco eventually saw a need in the marketplace that he knew he could fill. He began Afuera Landscape Designs with the goal of placing the needs of the customer at the forefront. The team at Afuera understands our clients lead busy lives and want to work with an organized, professional company that will make things as easy as possible.
It is our goal to provide top-notch customer service for our clients. In the landscape industry, it can be difficult to find professional contractors. It is our priority to return phone calls promptly, to provide thorough, well-written estimates in a timely fashion, and to complete the work as efficiently as possible. Upon the start of a project, we provide the homeowner with a construction and payment schedule that clearly outlines what will be completed each day and when payments are due. There is a dedicated crew for each project, and this crew works Monday through Friday, weather permitting, until the project is complete.
Paco and the team at Afuera also specialize in “outside the box” solutions. If a homeowner has a challenging yard they are unsure what to do with, or a specific problem that requires an innovative solution, we will work with them to solve it. There is no “one size fits all” solution to each landscape; instead, we want to tailor your landscape to your specific needs and desires. That may be a space for entertaining, a serene area for meditation, a place where your kids can play or a spot for growing your own fruits and vegetables.
